Symphonic Distribution Hires Eshan Shah Jahan From The Orchard as Head of Product

We are pleased to announce that we have hired Eshan Shah Jahan as Head of Product, based out of Symphonic Distribution’s New York office.
Jahan previously spent 11 years leading Product Management and Design at The Orchard, and as a software developer in streaming media prior to that. At the Orchard, he was responsible for designing a brand new dashboard and a variety of business intelligence tools for labels and artists while at the Orchard, and we look forward to having him on board as part of our growing New York presence.

Jahan has also enabled significant expansion into new territories and new business lines. He integrated support for multiple languages and currencies, localized release and artist metadata, and an international physical distribution network formed a global solution that powers Sony Music’s distributed label business.
He also designed solutions for rights and conflict management for UGC and performance rights collection, mechanical administration services, and a growing film and TV business across theatrical, EST, VOD, and term license revenue streams.
