It was a truly amazing experience for Symphonic to host our first Music Industry Sessions in Puerto Rico. Music Industry Sessions is an innovative series of events aimed for artists, producers, and singer-songwriters from the independent music community.
The first event consisted of a VIP event, PRO Music Industry Sessions, for established music industry professionals on Friday, February 22nd at the new Santurcia Hotel and Bar.
Following that was the core event on February 23rd, Music Industry Sessions, which was held at the Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico. The panels featured professionals in digital music services, A & R, marketing companies, music producers, and record label executives. Panelists included staff members from Pandora, SiriusXM, Latin Alternative Music Conference, StageBoom, and more.
Not only did the participants have the opportunity to network, but they also were able to learn about marketing and promoting their music, developing their brand and management, and legal issues within the music industry.

The educational event was followed with a live music showcase, Symphonic Live, at La Respuesta in Santurce. The showcase included independent artists like Calma Carmona, Andrea Cruz, Los Walters, Rafa Pabon, and Nutopia. Check out photos from the showcase on our Facebook page.
