Using Spotify Ad Studio, Artist Teams Can Now Measure the Impact Their Ad Campaigns Have on Streaming
Labels and artist teams using Ad Studio have been asking for more insightful ways to understand the impact of their campaigns. Spotify is excited to roll out a new set of streaming conversion metrics that’ll help you understand how those listeners responded after they heard your ad. Pandora, SiriusXM Launch Pandora NOW
SiriusXM and Pandora has launched the first cross-platform listening experience since the satellite broadcaster acquired the streaming service. Leveraging Pandora’s listener data, Pandora NOW is be both a SiriusXM channel and a Pandora interactive station and playlist for its combined audience of 100 million listeners.

Music Is Finally Making More Money Than It Was In 2007
After weathering decades of decline, the global recorded music industry saw its fourth consecutive year of revenue growth in 2018, according to the latest annual review from the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI). The IFPI reports that music sales from around the world topped $19.1 billion last year — finally rebounding enough to eclipse the $18.4 billion made in 2007.

Internet Archive rescues half a million lost MySpace songs
MySpace, once the favorite social network of musicians around the world, made news in March when it was discovered that 12 years worth of music was lost during a data migration.
A small part of that has, fortunately, been recovered by The Internet Archive.
