About CASHÆ
PRODUCERS, Abomb and Joseph Michael met in a sound recording class Spring of 2014, while attending Miami Dade College. Abomb introduced himself after overhearing Joseph Michael singing and playing his own rendition of ‘Santeria’ by Sublime on the piano. They both recognized each other’s true talent and potential to not only be incredible musicians together but business partners as well.
Once in the studio, the vibe between them was undeniable. Three months later, Abomb and Joseph Michael joined forces to open their own studio. Bangers began to flow. With sounds and skillsets complimenting each other so effortlessly, they decided to make the collaboration official in 2016. Together, they named the new DJ duo CASHÆ, and worked together to define their own sound in the industry: Trapical.
CASHÆ’s Trapical sound is a perfect blend of everything today’s youth want to hear: Pop, EDM, nostalgic RnB, with Latin undertones (Alex is Puerto Rican and Joseph is Cuban). Their unique sound weaves together multiple genres at once, creating a refreshing, global sound that appeals to the masses. CASHÆ’S most recent musical collaborations include Tory Lanez, Jocelyn Alice, Valntn, Cristina Quinones, Torion, Sean Cavaliere, SMLE, Danny Acosta, Boobie Black and Kevin Gates.
About “Ex On The Beach”
A group of famous singles heads to a tropical island for a chance at love — but paradise doesn’t last long when the stars’ former flames wash ashore to break up their good time. Romeo Miller hosts as romantically embattled celebs from “Teen Mom,” “Bad Girls Club, “The Bachelorette,” “The Challenge” and more decide whether to stick with their exes or move on without them.
This track has also been recently featured in Les Mills, and we have a feeling it won’t be the track’s last licensing placement.
