Pandora Brings Full Song Credits to Web Player & Desktop App
Pandora has announced full song credits for millions of tracks — something usually only available with physical media.
Full song credits are accessible to all Pandora users regardless of their service tier. You can see the lyrics online at Pandora.com or in the desktop app for macOS and Windows.
The feature starts showing a basic list of credits on the song’s detail page. Users can click “See All Song Credits” to see all of the people credited on the song. Those credits include producers, instrumentals, background singers, and songwriters.

MUSIC VIDEO PLATFORM TRILLER RAISES $28M WITH ‘SIGHTS SET ON OVERTAKING TIKTOK’
US-based music video platform and TikTok rival Triller has raised an eight-figure funding round led by Proxima Media – and also appears to have handed a stake in its business to all three major labels.
The funding round is worth $28 million in total, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal, with the Series B raise potentially valuing Triller at $130 million.

Spotify Reaches 113 Million Paying Subscribers, Says It’s Growing Twice as Fast as Apple Music
Spotify today announced that its streaming music service has reached 113 million paying subscribers as of September 30, up from 108 million as of June 30. Spotify’s monthly active user count also increased to 248 million through September, inclusive of users listening to its free, ad-supported tier.

“We believe that we can do something that’s net positive from a user-experience point of view, while at the same time also helping labels and artists with the real pressure point for them, which is that they today have to participate in the marketplace by spending a lot of money, going onto other digital platforms, marketing that content in a non-native environment, where you then have to click a couple of links and then end up a minute or two later listening to that content.”

Amazon is offering an Echo Dot for 99 cents with an Amazon Music Unlimited subscription
If you want an Echo Dot, Amazon’s got a new deal you can use to get one for cheap: the company will sell you a third-gen Echo Dot for just 99 cents if you buy a month of Amazon Music Unlimited along with it.
The whole deal will cost you $8.78: $7.99 for one month of Amazon Music Unlimited and $0.99 for the Echo Dot. If you’re not an Amazon Prime member already, Amazon’s terms and conditions say that you’ll have to pay the non-Prime price of $9.99 for Amazon Music Unlimited, making the total price $10.98.
