Varien, the moniker of Nik Kaelar, is the millennial’s Trent Reznor. Not only does he work within every genre – he sets the bar while he is at it. Whether it is producing K-Pop #1 hits for artists like VIXX or Super Junior, or composing for Hollywood films like Furious 7, or touring the Americas, Kaelar is truly a boundary pusher with no seeming end. His music as Varien is dark, beautiful, elegant, industrial, and dripping with atmosphere.
