Women in Music Who Are Defining 2020
CloZee
Over the past couple years, CloZee has become a staple on stages all over the world, and it’s no surprise considering the immense passion she implements into everything she does. From Coachella to India, on four US Tours, and all around her native France, CloZee knows no boundaries. She lets her music speak for itself and lets no one, other than herself define her sound. Her newest track, “Our Voices” is out now.
Julia Nunes
Julia Nunes is a beacon of light among a culture of negativity, heartbreak and insecurity. Her strength shines brightly through her music and bleeds into her community of supporters all around the world. So much so, she’s funded her last 3 albums completely through Kickstarter. In 2017, her Kickstarter campaign for her 6th album achieved over twice it’s funding goal.
This truly serves as an example of what you can truly accomplish on your own terms. As an advocate for self care, she’s outspoken about what it means to own your truth. To learn to appreciate what it means to take the good and the bad and make it something beautiful, no matter how hard. Check out her latest release, “Dear Ben” below.
Kari Faux
Riding her own wave of personal and creative growth, Kari Faux is an inspiration to those who feel a little different. Those who just want to be seen, appreciated and understood for all that they bring to the table. Unique, charismatic and witty, Kari Faux does her own thing and takes no shit. She inspires her audience to be authentically themselves, to always speak up for what you believe in and to never be afraid to ask for help.
Her recent EP, “Cry 4 Help” is a deep representation of working through pain and learning to heal.

BIIANCO
In a genre notoriously dominated by male producers, BIIANCO stands out among the crowd. Not only does she self produce and engineer all her tracks, her live one-woman show seamlessly features her juggling keyboards, drum pads, airy vocals and lyrical dance all at once.
After working with male producers for years, she finally sat back and realized she had all the tools she needed to do it all herself. And so she did. Her commitment to the craft inspires women in all facets of the industry to go big, take risks and persevere regardless of the odds stacked against you. Her newest single, “Chlorine” is out now.
Qrion
Qrion has been making huge waves in the electronic music scene for years. Her stunning soundscapes have graced labels like Anjunadeep and Moving Castle, but it’s her captivating presence and ability to adapt that makes her really stand out.
After moving to San Francisco from the Japanese city of Sapporo, she knew zero english. She paved her own way, learned the language, the customs and made her mark on the electronic music scene in a massive way. Qrion is here to stay, inspiring girls everywhere to take that leap of faith. Qrion is the perfect example of shooting your shot and falling among the stars.
