Get to know Manny Blu

Manny Blu’s sights were first set on a career as an MMA fighter until an unfortunate injury ended his athletic career. While recovering, Manny discovered John Mayer and the blues. He picked up a guitar to pass the time and when friends started requesting country music songs, he got hooked on the genre.

Manny’s family immigrated to Canada from Italy about half a century ago. One of his grandfather’s many jobs was playing clarinet in the city band in Montreal. He left Canada for a spell to record his debut album, Leave It Like It Is, in Nashville, Tennessee. He returned to Canada to open for George Canyon’s Hit After Hit Tour and headlined his own eastern Canadian tour in the fall of 2019.

While a new studio project is completing production; Manny is set to release a deluxe version of Leave It Like It Is featuring a new single and alternate versions of fan favorites such as Looking Forward To Looking Back – Live & Unplugged.
