Get to know TAOG

Shaquille Taylor, aka TAOG (pronounced TAY-O-G), is a 24-year-old artist from Freeport, Bahamas. At the age of 11 TAOG moved to Florida to pursue a professional tennis career. His perseverance and hard work brought him within the top 200 players of the world under the age of 18. During his time in Florida, TAOG discovered he had a passion for songwriting and quickly he started creating his own songs. During his college career TAOG dropped multiple projects and singles such as “Chinatown” and “Dirty Laundry”. He quickly started gaining more attention in South Florida after being featured on WorldstarHiphop and Rap Nation. In 2018, TAOG started collaborating with German artist 2Scratch, together their projects have accumulated over 25 million streams on Spotify and over 30 million streams on Youtube. After graduating college, TAOG moved to Toronto, CA to expand his education and fanbase.

The title of his new single “Summer 2020” was chosen because of the difficult year that the world is going through and represents the strength of the people to overcome this. The song signifies confidence of TAOG and Big Vezy looking forward towards their bright future.
