Our new series, Next Up, is part DJ Mix and part commentary. With world traveler and Florida based artist DJ Sandman on the decks and as our host, Next Up showcases the industry’s best and brightest in Hip-Hop and R&B every month.
About Your Host // DJ Sandman
As a voting member of the BET Awards and a member of The Mix Syndicate, DJ Sandman has always kept his ear to the concrete, staying in touch with the hottest sounds from the streets and mixing on the FM airwaves every weekend from 2006 to 2020. All the while, showcasing local music on The Beat’s “Future Flavors” segment and touring throughout Europe and the U.S. alongside L.A.-by-way-of-Tampa emcee, Dynasty.
After his run in corporate radio ended in 2020, Sandman linked up with Symphonic Distribution to launch Illsboro, a local record label featuring Hip Hop and R&B acts from around the world. Now, we’re proud to have him as our amazing host for Next Up*.

What To Expect…
Each episode tells a story. The first episode, entitled “The Beginning”, is exactly that. The beginning of the set and the show, introducing you to some of the newest in Hip-Hop/R&B you may have not heard yet.
Symphonic will continue its plan to feature more podcasts and aims to streamline our focus on Electronic Music, as well as Latin based commentary, to help our client base get the recognition they deserve and thrive beyond their wildest dreams.
