Get to know Louis Knight
Louis Knight is a British-born, Philadelphia-based pop singer-songwriter. With a writing style that reflects his raw emotion, Louis’ music unabashedly speaks plainly about his own deeply personal experiences about love, loss, and hope.
His first single, “Just Kiss Me” was released July 2019 becoming an instant Summer anthem. In September, Louis released his EP “Small Victories” and it gained critical praise and validated his ability to connect with his audience. Following the release, Popdust stated, “This marks the beginning of an era for Knight.”
Louis’s song “Change” is regarded as his most influential. About “Change”, Philadelphia Weekly wrote, “…it’s a stunning example of Knight’s ability to translate his emotions and experiences into meaningful songs.”
Louis was featured prominently as a top finalist on the 2020 season of American Idol.
Louis is a spokesperson for The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention to help carry the message of hope to those that continue to suffer.
In his latest release, “Save a Little Love”, Louis explores his walk through a breakup, where love hits a crossroad with his career. Louis writes about the emotional intersection and the choices we subsequently make.
