I had 3 different calls earlier today,where the person on the other end said,we just wanna make sure nothing changes once other people get involved and for a second I got really upset and was like gahdamn! As long as I been doing this,you think ima sway when somebody else come in the room ? It was a lesson learned,what ever energy,emotion and attitude you had to get in a position,you gotta live and die with that,cause most of the people that work with you when you get older,weren’t around when you were younger,you can’t afford to asume that they’ve payed attention and they really know who you are,what I don’t get, is what I don’t get, cause I don’t sway and what I get, is what I get cause I don’t sway, Period!! Get to know Jermaine Dupri

Jermaine Dupri Mauldin is an American rapper, songwriter, record producer, entrepreneur, record executive, and DJ. He was born in Asheville, North Carolina, and was raised in Atlanta. He has worked with and produced for Kris Kross, Mariah Carey, Usher, Jay-Z, Nelly, Monica, Migos, Da Brat, Xscape, Janet Jackson, TLC, Aretha Franklin, Ludacris, Alicia Keys, Jagged Edge, and Bow Wow.

For his latest release “CHANGE”, Dupri drew inspiration from his previous record with U2’s Bono, “What’s Going On”. “I started my quest in making this song back in June, using what Bono and I did with “What’s Goin On” as the blueprint,” Jermaine wrote on Twitter. “I created “Change” [for] all Black Kings [and] artist I never worked with, new artists I feel are next and then just downright incredible vocalists.” Jermaine Dupri partnered up with Symphonic Distribution to present this all-star assemble. All proceeds from “CHANGE” will benefit the Social Change Fund, a charitable organization dedicated to empowering communities of color and advocating for the rights of all Black lives.
