Moving forward, Beatport has decided to switch up their release days from Monday to Friday. Here’s what that means for you.
Beatport Announces New Store Updates
As per their official announcement, “The Friday update will feature releases that have been released since the previous Saturday. The cutoff is therefore Friday which means that if you release on Saturday, your release will only get featured on the following Friday.”
When does this go into effect?
This update starts this week.
From here on out, Beatport is encouraging labels to schedule their releases for Friday’s. This change ensures they can provide the freshest releases for its customers and further benefits labels and their releases by shifting to a day with the most traffic.
