North Carolina based, three-piece alternative band, LOWBORN has secured themselves within pop and rock genres as an overflowing river of industry potential. With their top single, “Crazy“, surpassing well over a million streams, LOWBORN‘s perfected self-production and musical evolution continues to grow with their latest singles. For fans of PVRIS, 5SOS, and Twenty One Pilots, LOWBORN is an independent, skillful band that is rapidly growing via constant Spotify official playlist placements (New Noise, All New Rock, etc.) and meaningful press placements.
Billboard calls LOWBORN‘s sound “… absolutely huge, and it also, in fact, touches on a wide swath of musical territory.” High synth and impeccable vocals are just two of LOWBORN’s many signature features, complemented by crisp visuals and gritty expressions. Each of the band’s releases portray vivid emotion while building impressive soundscapes and pushing boundaries during every performance.
For years, vocalist Wes Lauterbach, drummer/synthist Zane Frye, and guitarist/synthesist William Clayton, have kicked down doors and dissolved obstacles to foster a dedicated fanbase. Each member plays an important role in the band’s development as a whole, creating their own art, branding, and most impressively, producing everything on their own in Zane and Wes’ personal studio, appropriately dubbed, “The Stu”.
In addition, popular singles such as “Crazy”, “Demons and Angels” and “Reckless” led to Spotify support through official playlist placements.
LOWBORN just released their latest single “sad. sad”, inspired by how kids used to say they “LIKE like” each other in grade school. Upon describing the release, Wes states that he “thought about the easiest way to talk about dealing with depression and anxiety without making it more complicated than it has to be (although it is a complicated issue).”
