Back in April of 2021, Spotify introduced their new live audio app called Locker Room which mainly focused on sports. Since then, they’ve rebranded the concept and have now finally relaunched it as Greenroom, refocusing the app into the music and culture space. Here’s everything you need to know about Greenroom.
Spotify Launches Clubhouse-Style Live Audio App, Greenroom
Chat About Everything You Love
Similarly to Clubhouse, Greenroom is a live audio app that lets you host and join in on live discussions through virtual rooms. In these rooms, users can chat with other people who have similar taste about everything you love, from music and entertainment to sports, gaming, and more.
Anyone can start a room by tapping the ‘Create a Room’ button at the bottom of the Home page. When you’re the one to create a room, that makes you the Host. As the host, it’s your responsibility to invite others to the room and select the rooms to go live in.
