How To Set Up a PreSave Using Symphonic
What is a Presave?
Presaves are similar to preorders. With it, you can promote an upcoming release by giving your fans the opportunity to save it in advance prior to the actual release date. That way, they’ve got it saved and ready to go for the moment it finally goes live.
With our partnerships with Hypeditt and Feature.fm, you (or your team) can set up presaves for your upcoming releases on Spotify, Apple Music, and Deezer right in our SMS.
For example: A pre-save for a Spotify campaign allows your fans to connect on Spotify and automatically add an upcoming album or single to their Spotify library when it is released. — Additionally, fans can automatically follow the artist or a playlist and have the album added to a new or existing playlist.

Here’s how it works…
With our partnership with Hypeddit, you can set up a pre-save campaign for free in the SymphonicMS. Once you log in to your Hypeddit account, navigate to Share Music and select Pre-Release Smart Link. Be sure to check out their full walkthrough here on creating pre-save links.
- With Hypeddit, you don’t need a Spotify or Apple URI/URL to create a pre-release smart link. As long as your release is approved in the SymphonicMS, all you’ll need is the UPC or ISRC to enter under the Source field in the SMS.
- In addition, your pre-save link will automatically convert to a smart link on your release date.
To access Feature.fm from the SymphonicMS platform, navigate to Market ► Client Offerings ► Featured Partners. They also have a detailed guide on how you can get started on creating a pre-save link or smart link, which you can check out right here.
