TIDAL has just launched a new artist-to-artist connection tool called TIDAL Collabs that lets you easily discover and message recommended artists. Designed to make collaborating easier and more efficient than ever, here’s how this tool can not only help you elevate your collaboration process and ease your mind, but also possibly win you an in-studio experience with hip-hop legend, Jermaine Dupri. Here’s the rundown…
Everything You Need To Know About TIDAL Collabs
About TIDAL Collabs
TIDAL Collabs aims to streamline the collaboration process by providing insights-driven collaborator recommendations to artists, plus elevated messaging features to make reaching out to those collaborators easier than ever. Not to mention, this tool is completely free to use.
Once onboarded, Artists will begin to see their recommendations populate in the “Recommended for you” section. Each recommendation will provide an “insight” as to why that particular artist was recommended. Here, Artists will receive up to 10 recommendations at a time, of which they can choose to interact and message, or decline and receive more recommendations. With these, you can then click into your recommended artists’ profiles to decide if they’re a right fit for you. If not, decline the recommendation and keep it moving. If they are, send a message!
Easy as that.
Tidal Collabs Spotlight Contest
To celebrate the launch, TIDAL has also teamed up with GRAMMY award-winning producer, music executive and Hall of Fame Songwriter Jermaine Dupri, to launch a TIDAL Collabs Spotlight contest which awards select artists an in-studio experience with Dupri. In addition to in-studio mentorship, winners will also receive marketing support for their collaborative track.
- To apply, artists must submit their entry through a form emailed to them once they opt in to TIDAL Collabs.
- DEADLINE is January 17, 2024.
