Do you want your latest release to have the best shot it can at making Billboard charts? If so, registering with Luminate is a must. In this article, we’ll show you how to do it right in the SMS…
How To Register With Luminate in the SymphonicMS
About Luminate
Created back in 2022, Luminate was born in an effort to fulfill the vision to be entertainment’s preeminent data and insights company, unleashing access to the most essential, objective and trustworthy information across music, film and television. Luminate (formerly SoundScan) tracks music sales for reporting to charts like the iconic Billboard Charts in the USA and Canada. With over 500 authorized data partners, they see more artists, more songs, and more albums than any other music analytics platform in the game. 📊
In order to have a chance at making the Billboard music charts, any release must be registered with Luminate using UPC number (for the whole album) and ISRC codes (for the individual tracks). Without registration, those sales figures won’t be counted and will remain invisible to the system.
What does this mean for you?
Now $30 per album submission, we offer “one-click” registration with Luminate right in the SMS for Symphonic clients. To utilize this service, all you have to do is log in to the SMS here to start the registration process. Once you’ve registered, we take all the data we already have on your release and get it officially registered with Luminate so your album is in their system and sales are tracked easily and effectively.
