Ensamble etéreo is a dynamic musical experience, spanning genres from Merengue and Bachata to Rock, jazz, Reggaeton, electronic, and beyond. Recorded live with the highest musical standards in the industry, this series captures the essence and magic of each artist and every instrument, connecting audiences worldwide to the rich cultural tapestry of these genres.
This partnership underscores our commitment to artistic excellence and the preservation of music in all its forms. Every episode of Ensamble etéreo, powered by Symphonic, is more than entertainment — it’s a celebration of musical heritage and a platform for cultural exchange, bringing diverse musical traditions to the forefront of the global stage.
How does it work?
Each session features 4 to 6 carefully selected songs, lasting 15 to 30 minutes, blending various genres and styles while still showcasing traditional Dominican rhythms paired with high-quality cinematic production. All to bring us together through what unites us the most… music. ✨
The first four artists featured in this series include:
La Banda Gorda // La Banda Gorda is a renowned Dominican merengue group, founded in 1994 by José Virgilio Peña Suazo, commonly known as Peña Suazo. The band quickly became one of the most influential merengue ensembles in the Dominican Republic, known for its high-energy performances and vibrant sound. Peña Suazo, a talented singer, composer, and trumpeter, led the group to fame with hits like “Candela Pura,” “Subido en el Palo,” and “Esa Morena.”
Chez Tropics // Chez Tropics is a rising Dominican electronic artist known for blending Caribbean rhythms with modern electronic beats, creating a unique fusion of tropical sounds and digital experimentation. Drawing inspiration from the vibrant music culture of the Dominican Republic, Chez Tropics crafts immersive soundscapes that explore the intersection of traditional Latin influences and contemporary electronic music.
Mark B // Mark B is a Dominican urban music artist known for his dynamic fusion of Latin trap, reggaeton, and hip-hop. He emerged in the Dominican Republic’s vibrant urban music scene with standout tracks like “Pal de Velitas” and “Me Llamas,” quickly gaining recognition for his catchy hooks and smooth, versatile flow.
Negro Karibe // Negro Karibe is a Dominican artist whose music embodies the rich cultural heritage of the Caribbean. Known for blending traditional Afro-Dominican rhythms with modern genres like reggae, salsa, and bachata, Negro Karibe brings a vibrant and soulful sound to the music scene.
