Top Symphonic Country Artists of 2024
J.R. Carroll
J.R. Carroll gained his gospel pipes on Sunday mornings, leading the small-town Okie church choir by piano and voice. After finding a group of friends to sing and play along with, Carroll picked up an acoustic to accompany the songs in his head. What came of this is a set of songs that resonate with the fans of Tyler Childers, Jason Isbell, Parker McCollum, John Moreland, and his close friend Zach Bryan. Carroll performed alongside Bryan on his 2020 release, Elisabeth. Carroll is currently writing his first full-length record. He is on the road where he plays piano in support of Zach Bryan. Kylie Frey
“In today’s country, it’s not uncommon for artists to veer from one “lane” to another, adopting a new sound and style as trends change. But there’s a growing movement within the genre suffering no such identity crisis, and there you’ll find Kylie Frey. Prior to being named one of CMT’s Next Women of Country class of 2024, Kylie was Born and raised as country as it gets, she is a third-generation rodeo girl and Louisiana state goat-tying champion – and a rising star as genuine as her blue jeans. Sincere in her convictions and too real to dismiss, even for ardent country haters, her sound both typifies and transcends the genre. With her music, she brings a timeless sense of authenticity back.” // Discover more on Spotify…

Born in Fort Myers, Florida, he grew up in Cleveland and Cincinnati, moving frequently as a child due to his father’s career in radio and his mother’s work as a music teacher. Living and working in Nashville, he collaborates with a diverse range of music and artists, creating what feels authentic to him. Believing that his generation doesn’t confine itself to traditional genres, Alex embraces a boundaryless approach to his music.
