Symphonic Distribution Expands A&R Client Development Team in Asia
Expanding Our Global Reach in Asia 🔥
We’re proud to announce the expansion of our A&R Client Development team across Asia! Joining the team are Christine Su (Greater China & Taiwan), Eleanor Phan (Vietnam), Twinky Lagdameo (Southeast Asia), and Jay Choe (South Korea & Japan), with Fiona Comendador stepping in as Client Manager, APAC.
Reporting to Guji Lorenzana (Territory Manager, Asia, Symphonic), the new team members will work closely with artists and labels in their respective regions to provide tailored solutions for each market, ensuring that each artist has the tools, insights, and strategies needed to grow. As Symphonic continues to grow its international presence, we’re doubling down on our commitment to serve independent creators at a truly global level.
About Our Newly Promoted Leaders
Christine Su joins Symphonic with a wide range of experience, including her role as the International Project Manager for the Golden Melody Awards (GMA) and Conference Curator for the GMA Festival. She is also a Director for Studio 8F-3 Co., handling professional curation, artist management, cross-border music collaborations, and media partnerships. Before that, she held the role of Event Partnership Manager for Gig Life Pro, where she managed online and in-person events for music industry professionals globally.
Eleanor Phan comes to Symphonic with over three years of experience in the Vietnam music industry, including most recently as a Client and Video Services Manager for The Orchard. There, she managed partnerships with several labels, ensured adherence to DSP guidelines, assisted with content delivery, ensured timely and accurate royalty payments, and more. Before this, she served as an Artist Relationship Executive for MMUSIC, where she negotiated and developed long-term partnerships with over 70 new artists.
Jay Choe brings his expertise as a consultant in the K-pop space to Symphonic, along with a background working on conventions, festivals, and tour logistics since 2009. He has debuted numerous K-Pop groups in the U.S. and abroad, including PIXY, from20, and HELLO GLOOM. He is also experienced in the music production process, as a songwriter for various Korean and international artists, including Uki Satake, U_Chae, and EVO.
Twinky Lagdameo joins Symphonic with over 20 years of experience across artist development, music marketing, distribution, education, and publishing. She began her career launching Tower Records in the Philippines and later served as Marketing Director at EMI, where she led successful campaigns for acts including Coldplay, Norah Jones, Bamboo, and Sugarfree. She also served as Director of Talent and Artist Relations at MTV, helping bridge Southeast Asian artists and the broader music industry. She is the co-founder of Elements Music Camp, a regional creative development program that has mentored top singer-songwriters, including Moira Dela Torre and Ben&Ben. In publishing, she has worked with a range of writers and producers across Southeast Asia to grow catalogs, protect rights, and optimize revenue opportunities.
Fiona Comendador joins Symphonic after serving as Label Manager for Virgin Music Group in the Philippines since 2022. Prior to that, she held the roles of Distribution Supervisor and Artist Engagement Manager at Kumu, a live streaming app with over six million registered users in the Philippines. She studied Music Business Management at Meridian International College. As Client Manager for the entire APAC region, she will act as the main point of contact for artists and record labels. Her role blends client relations, project management, and release strategy to help artists and labels succeed.
