A Club Called Rhonda
Honoring dance music’s radical, queer roots of color is deeply embedded in A Club Called Rhonda, while effortlessly educating partygoers remains a part of their purpose. Co-Founder Gregory Alexander explains, “… dance music and club culture were built by queer people, people of color, people from underprivileged backgrounds, from inner cities.” A Club Called Rhonda is more than just an all-inclusive party experience; it embodies everything the community works so hard for: a reliable space built on safety, education, inclusivity, expression, and support.
BTFA Collective
The Black Trans Femmes in the Arts (BTFA) Collective is a badass art collective for Black trans women and non-binary femmes. This organization works to create spaces for the production and preservation of Black trans art and culture by building community with Black trans femme artists and providing them with the resources and support necessary to thrive. Founded in 2019 by Jordyn Jay, BTFA has created an uplifting, joyous space for Black trans women and non-binary femme artists to showcase their talent, advance their artistic careers, and explore the possibilities of their own creativity.
Color Of Music Collective
The Color of Music Collective was started to amplify the voices of people of color and LGBTQ+ individuals working in the music industry. They host free, virtual panels every week featuring industry professionals across all sectors, offering advice, sharing personal experiences, and creating space for honest conversations. In addition to panels, they also offer resources, community events, and opportunities to network and learn from others who are paving the way. Whether you’re an artist, manager, or aspiring exec, COMC is a powerful space for connection, visibility, and growth.
Community Bread
Community Bread is a queer-owned livestream & resource platform connecting audiences around the world with marginalized artists so they can easily receive donations to offset economic hardship during this global pandemic. They’ve raised over $20,000 in support of +50 international artists such as DJ Minx, Jasmine Infiniti & CEM, and charity organizations like Trans Women of Color Collective, The Ali Forney Center, ORAM, G.L.I.T.S., & The Trevor Project. Even more, Community Bread features over 25 LGBTQ+ & POC nightlife collectives that have been integral in building their local music and arts scene from Singapore’s Eternal Dragonz to Bulto in Colombia. They provide a directory of resources and financial opportunities for artists, venues, and businesses, as well as actionable means to fight against social and economic injustices.
GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation)
GLAAD has been a leading voice for LGBTQ+ representation and advocacy since 1985. While their work spans TV, film, and media broadly, they also champion fair and accurate portrayals of LGBTQ+ people in the music industry and beyond. Through campaigns, educational resources, and partnerships, GLAAD fights harmful stereotypes and promotes stories that reflect the true diversity of the community.

GLOW
Launched by Spotify, GLOW is an initiative that puts LGBTQIA+ artists and creators front and center, on and off the platform. Available in over 50 markets worldwide, GLOW is all about authentic representation and year-round support. Through dedicated playlists, editorial spotlights, live events, and partnerships, the program amplifies queer voices and builds meaningful visibility for the community. It’s not just a moment, it’s a movement toward lasting inclusivity in the music industry.
HE.SHE.THEY
HE.SHE.THEY is an international, non-prejudicial & inclusive events collective operating at the intersection of art, fashion, and music. They work to create a place without prejudice for people to be people regardless of their age, race, sex, gender, ability, religious background, or sexual preference. This has been achieved by taking over iconic clubs around the world, such as Pacha, Ministry of Sound, Watergate, Rex Club, De Marktkantine, Digital, Fabric, and more, and creating within them diverse and inclusive event programming – from DJs to hosts.
Queer Capita
Queer Capita is a professional networking and community organization dedicated to empowering Queer professionals across the music industry. Founded in 2021 by Queer leaders in the field, the organization brings together members from over 40 music companies, including DSPs, major and indie labels, distributors, and beyond. Their mission is to build a united, visible Queer workforce in music by creating impactful partnerships, opening doors for Queer students and emerging professionals, and advocating for career development at every level. Through mentorship, community-building, and advocacy, Queer Capita is helping shape a more inclusive and equitable industry for all.
The Color Agent
Founded in 2014, The Color Agent is on a mission to amplify LGBTQIA+ representation in mainstream music. Their platform showcases top talent and creators from the LGBTQIA+ community, with a focus on driving cultural change through curated content and community-building. At TCA, they believe in putting talent first and strive to shift the way the entertainment industry hears, sees, and feels the LGBTQIA+ community. In addition to artist development and visibility, they also work closely with industry leaders to foster inclusive opportunities and break down barriers for queer creatives. By spotlighting both emerging and established talent, TCA is helping reshape the future of representation in music and beyond.
