Symphonic Hires Michelle Garramone to Lead Expansion into Catalog Deals and Strategic Partnerships
Symphonic has officially hired Michelle Garramone as Head of Strategic Partnerships, a newly focused role designed to drive the company’s growth across catalog acquisitions and high-impact partnerships.
In this position, she will oversee relationships with catalog owners, investment funds, brand partners, and other strategic collaborators worldwide. She will also work closely with Symphonic’s leadership and deal teams to identify opportunities across both the existing Symphonic ecosystem and emerging global markets, helping ensure the company remains competitive as the industry continues to evolve.
About Michelle Garramone

Prior to joining Symphonic, Garramone served as President of Blue Rose Music, an investor-backed American heritage record label based in Northern California. During her tenure, she oversaw company operations and led key growth initiatives across artist development, distribution strategy, and catalog optimization.
Following that role, she founded and led an advisory business, partnering directly with executive leadership teams across the independent music sector. Her work focused on expansion strategies, restructuring, systems optimization, and market repositioning.
Her move into a distribution-level strategic partnerships role marks a natural next step, as she works more broadly across the evolving landscape of music ownership, rights management, and long-term value creation.
“We’re at a moment where independent artists and rightsholders are thinking more strategically about their catalogs, their capital, and their long-term growth,” says Garramone. “What excites me about joining Symphonic is the opportunity to be at the intersection of these conversations and to connect the needs of the market with efficient solutions, whether that’s capital, partnerships, or new ways to unlock value.”
A Strategic Step Forward
Michelle joins Symphonic as the company continues expanding its focus across catalog, capital, and ownership. She’s built a reputation for connecting the creative and business sides of the industry, working closely with artists and rightsholders to align them with the right partners, resources, and opportunities for growth.
“Given her track record of developing catalogs and building strong strategic relationships, Michelle is the ideal person to lead the way as we expand our financial strategy,” says Jorge Brea, CEO & Founder of Symphonic. “We have some exciting initiatives coming soon that will allow us to grow our catalog, maximize the value of the catalog we have, and provide our clients with the funds they need to climb the music-industry ladder.”
This marks an exciting next step as we continue expanding into catalog deals and strategic partnerships, creating new opportunities for independent artists and labels alike.
We’re looking forward to not only working alongside her but also seeing how she helps lead this growth and shape what’s next for Symphonic in this space. 🎉
