Symphonic has officially promoted four members of our executive leadership team: Janette Berrios to SVP, Corporate Marketing; Ed Poston to SVP, Head of A&R; Lane Roney to SVP, Finance; and Taylor Garland to EVP & CFO.
These promotions recognize the major impact each leader has had across Symphonic’s growth, from global marketing and A&R expansion to finance infrastructure, strategic partnerships, and long-term operational planning. Learn more about them below…
Four Leaders Step Into Expanded Executive Roles at Symphonic
In their expanded roles, these leaders will continue driving key areas of Symphonic’s business, including global marketing, A&R strategy, financial operations, strategic partnerships, and long-term organizational growth. Together, their work supports Symphonic’s mission to provide independent artists, labels, managers, and music companies with the tools, resources, and opportunities they need to grow on a global scale.
Berrios will report to CEO and Founder Jorge Brea and is based in Tampa. Poston will continue reporting to Chief Creative Officer Randall Foster and is based in New York City. Roney will report to Garland and is based in Tampa. Garland will report to Brea and is also based in Tampa.

Janette Berrios has been promoted to SVP, Corporate Marketing. Based in Tampa, Janette has been part of Symphonic since the company’s early days, growing alongside the team and helping shape the brand into what it is today. Since 2022, she has served as VP, Corporate Marketing, where she has played a major role in Symphonic’s global expansion strategy, supporting A&R and marketing growth across the U.K., Europe, and APAC while continuing to strengthen the company’s deep roots in Latin America.
Ed Poston has been promoted to SVP, Head of A&R. Based in New York City, Ed joined Symphonic in August 2025 as Head of A&R, bringing more than 20 years of experience discovering, signing, and developing artists and songwriters across the U.S., U.K., and Europe. Since joining, he has made an immediate impact on Symphonic’s creative strategy and global A&R growth, leading a team of 36 creatives around the world.
Lane Roney has been promoted to SVP, Finance. Based in Tampa, Lane joined Symphonic in 2021 as Director of Finance and was promoted to VP, Finance in 2023. Since joining the team, he has played a key role in helping Symphonic scale with the structure, systems, and financial strategy needed to support the company’s continued growth.
Taylor Garland has been promoted to EVP & CFO. Based in Tampa, Taylor joined Symphonic as Chief Financial Officer in 2017, bringing experience across investment banking, private equity, and entrepreneurial ventures in multiple industries. Since then, he has helped guide Symphonic through major stages of growth, overseeing financial management, reporting, strategic planning, fundraising, capital deployment, and board and investor relations.
