About AXEAN Festival
AXEAN Festival is a Southeast Asian music export platform that combines a music conference and showcase festival. Launched in 2020 by music professionals across Southeast Asia, the event was created to increase visibility for the region’s music scenes and connect Southeast Asian artists with international industry professionals.
The 2026 edition includes a private music conference and a public music festival. The conference programming features speed meetings, panel discussions, pitching sessions, and other industry-focused opportunities designed to support professional exchange across the region and beyond.
The showcase festival side of AXEAN Festival features more than 40 artists across 3 stages, giving attendees the opportunity to discover new talent from Southeast Asia and connect with the wider creative ecosystem around the event.
For artists, labels, managers, distributors, publishers, promoters, booking agents, and other music professionals, AXEAN Festival offers a direct look at how Southeast Asian music is building stronger pathways across local, regional, and international markets.
How To Prepare
Before you arrive, make sure your artist, label, or company materials are clear, current, and easy to share. Have your website, streaming links, social handles, short bio, recent releases, upcoming plans, and contact information ready to go.
Go in with a specific goal for the conversations you want to have. You may be looking to build relationships in Southeast Asia, connect with export partners, learn more about regional music markets, meet artists and managers, explore showcase opportunities, or better understand how music from the region is reaching new audiences.
The stronger your direction is, the easier it will be to have productive conversations.
