Everything You Need To Know Before Attending Bangkok Music City
📆 When: January 24–25, 2026
📍 Where: Charoenkrung Creative District, Bangkok, Thailand
About Bangkok Music City
Bangkok Music City (BMC) is Thailand’s first international music conference and showcase festival, designed to connect the region’s fast-growing music ecosystem with the global industry. Now in its latest edition, BMC takes over Bangkok’s Charoenkrung Creative District with two packed days of panels, live showcases, networking sessions, and cultural programming.
Across multiple stages and venues, artists and industry professionals come together to explore conversations around music export, creative economies, regional collaboration, and the future of Asian music on a global scale. The event is expected to welcome thousands of attendees, with dozens of showcasing artists from across Asia and beyond, alongside international delegates, speakers, and decision makers from every corner of the music business. Bangkok Music City is more than just a conference. It’s a creative meeting point where culture, innovation, and community intersect. Set against one of Bangkok’s most vibrant cultural districts, the event offers a uniquely immersive experience that blends live music, industry insight, and the city’s rich artistic landscape.
How To Prep 📚
Before the conference, it’s important to plan ahead. We recommend mapping out the panels, networking sessions, and showcases you want to attend so you can make the most of your time on the ground.
When it comes to networking and promo materials, think modern and easy to share. Skip the CDs and focus on tools that help people quickly access your music and remember you later. QR code listening cards, business cards linking to your Spotify, Apple Music, or EPK, stickers with QR codes, mini zines or lyric cards, and even limited USBs or cassettes for niche scenes can all be effective ways to stand out.
Artists tend to get the most out of conferences when they lead with their story, create genuine human moments, and make it simple for new connections to revisit their music after the event.
The real value of conferences happens after the event. Follow up with new connections via email or social to keep the momentum going. Engaging with posts, sharing takeaways, and staying visible after the conference can help turn quick conversations into long-term relationships.
