Symphonic Signs SOQ ‘N Rolla Music to Strategic Distribution Deal
About ROQ ‘N Rolla Music
Founded in Amsterdam in 2015, ROQ ‘N Rolla Music has built a strong reputation for bold, artist-first releases and a catalog that connects across the Benelux region, the U.K., Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
The label is home to a roster of influential artists including Jebroer, Snelle, Outsiders, Famke Louise, Hans Glock, Kalibwoy, and RBDjan, along with its sublabels BAD MANOR Records and Nouveau Riche Music.
Through this partnership, ROQ ‘N Rolla will have access to Symphonic’s global distribution network of more than 200 DSPs, along with advanced royalty and rights tools, analytics, marketing support, playlist pitching, and wider artist and label services to help strengthen both its existing catalog and upcoming releases.
“Over the years, I’ve learned that the best deals in music are built on trust, shared values, and a genuine understanding of what it takes to grow independent businesses,” says Babek Arjang Far, Founder of ROQ ‘N Rolla Music.
“I admire the way Symphonic truly supports entrepreneurs and artists rather than trying to fit them into a standard mold. At ROQ ‘N Rolla, we’ve spent the last decade doing things our own way, championing artists with unique voices and building careers that stand the test of time. As we enter our next phase of international growth, we believe Symphonic is the right partner to help us scale globally while preserving the independence and culture that define who we are.”
From smarter reporting and monetization to hands-on release strategy and marketing support, the deal gives the label more resources to scale without losing the independence and creative identity that have shaped its success over the past decade.
A Strategic Step Forward in Europe
For Symphonic, the deal represents more than distribution. It reflects a broader focus on supporting independent music companies that have built distinct identities, strong regional influence, and long-term catalog value.
“I’ve known Babek for many years and have tremendous respect for his vision and the business he has built at ROQ ‘N Rolla Music,” says Sander Stijnen, Director, Business Development, EU at Symphonic. “ROQ ‘N Rolla has established itself as a highly regarded force in the independent music space through a clear commitment to artist development, quality releases, and long-term growth. This deal represents another important addition to the diverse range of labels and entrepreneurs we support at Symphonic. We look forward to working closely with Babek and his team as they continue to expand globally.”
Expanding Support for European Labels and Artists
In addition to ROQ ‘N Rolla Music, Symphonic has signed a growing roster of European labels in recent months, including 2-Tone Entertainment, Keep Hold S.r.l., Tripel Records, and House of Entertainment, strengthening its footprint across major creative hubs.
The company is also deepening its focus on artist development at the label level through work with Engeloop Records, which represents artists Naarly and ERIICE, and Building Bridges, which represents Illie, Jinho 9, and The Gem-Z Project.
