One of our favorite parts about Music Distribution is the satisfaction in watching our clients grow. We’ve seen countless bedroom producers climb the ladder, going from making beats in a basement, to touring around the world with major names. Everyone travels a different journey, but has to learn similar lessons, and techniques along the way. A common starting point for producers journey is at a music school, such as Recording Radio Film Connection (RRFC) & Casa Schools. Through their diverse programs, and amazing community of students and notable alumni, this school has elevated many talented producers into the industry. In wanting to help these students along their path, we have partnered with RRFC to assist their Q1 graduating class in releasing the first ever Student Music, Vol. 1 mixtape.
Our goal in collaborating with RRFC on this mixtape is to educate their students on the distribution process. Although we have tons of resources to help artists of any caliber get their music out to the masses, we have found that a more hands on approach is the best way to learn about each step of the process.
More importantly, however, we want to provide RRFC students with the satisfaction of having their hard work featured on major music platforms. For many students, this is the first time they will have an original track featured on streaming services such as Spotify, Tidal, Apple Music, and hundreds more. This is a huge step for many producers, and we hope they gain momentum following the enjoyment of their first release.
So without further ado, here are 8 original tracks by 8 original artists, all of whom just graduated from the 2018 RRFC Class!
