About LAUNCH
LAUNCH Music Conference is an annual event held in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, built around connecting independent artists with the people and resources that can help move their careers forward. It brings together musicians, industry professionals, and fans for a few days of panels, conversations, networking, and live showcases across the city.
At its core, this conference is focused on giving artists practical access to the industry. The daytime programming includes panels, workshops, and mentoring sessions led by professionals across areas like marketing, touring, production, and distribution. Then at night, artists take the stage at venues throughout downtown Lancaster, turning the conference into a multi-day live showcase.
The goal is simple: create a space where artists can learn, connect, and perform, all in one place.
How To Prep
Before the conference, make sure to plan ahead! We recommend making a schedule of the events, workshops, and performances you want to attend so you can make the most of your time. In addition, be sure to bring all your networking and promotional essentials like business cards, a notebook, a pen, some merch items if you have ’em, demo CDs, or whatever else you think will help you make a lasting impression and perform your best.
Try to attend as many events as you can, and take notes you can look back on later. After the conference, make sure to follow up with all the cool people you connected with via email or socials. Speaking of socials, it won’t hurt to post about your experience and engage with other attendees who’re posting about it too.
The more connections you make, the better!
Laura Catana (Director of Content & Social Media Strategy at Symphonic) and Darian Burns (A&R, Client Dev. at Symphonic) will be participating in a panel this year! 🎤 See full details below…
